Respiratory Therapist
Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
- Provide specialized support in NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
- Operate advanced equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 ventilators
- Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Make independent clinical judgments that directly impact patient recovery and comfort
Qualifications
- Current RRT or CRT credential
- Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Proven NICU experience essential
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong ventilator management across all age groups
- Proficiency with Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60 equipment
- Excellent assessment and decision-making skills
- Comfort working across inpatient, ER, and specialty care areas
