Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to nursing staff
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Build trusting relationships with residents and provide emotional support to families

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Demonstrated patient care experience or clinical training as a CNA
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused approach

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of basic infection control and safety practices
• Comfortable with mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
• Good observational skills and ability to report changes in condition
• Team player who can collaborate with nurses and therapy staff
