Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinical staff with patient intake, vitals, and basic procedures
Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment and supplies are ready
Support providers with charting and maintaining accurate patient records
Deliver friendly, compassionate patient interactions and education
Coordinate patient flow to keep the ambulatory clinic running smoothly
Participate in orientation and training to uphold quality and safety standards

Qualifications

Active Medical Assistant credential (CMA, RMA) preferred or equivalent experience
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinic settings is a plus
Strong communication and patient-service skills
Basic EHR/charting experience or willingness to learn
Ability to pass required background and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Formal Medical Assistant program or certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of clinical workflows in ambulatory care
Proficiency taking vital signs and performing basic clinical tasks
Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused attitude
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment
Attention to detail and commitment to patient confidentiality
