Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in the emergency department
Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
Stabilize and manage acute and emergency conditions with confidence
Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to create care plans
Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide education and support

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
Previous ED/ER nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Triage and emergency assessment skills
Ability to manage trauma and acute care scenarios
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Calm, decisive clinical decision-making under pressure
