Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-30-2026

End Date: 08-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams for optimal patient outcomes
Support a fast-paced OR handling 18 cases daily across multiple specialties
Respond to call within 15 minutes when scheduled

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred
BLS certification required
Strong orthopedic trauma and total joint experience
Ability to scrub cranial procedures independently
General OR experience with neuro, urology, and ENT cases
EPIC charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume OR environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and needs
