Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with trades allowed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units
Independently manage patients through all stages of labor and delivery
Titrate Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate drips with precision
Monitor fetal strips and maternal cardiac telemetry with confidence
Support moms and babies through routine and intermediate nursery care
Collaborate with your team as the reliable backup nurse every shift
Float to other units as a helping hand when needed

Qualifications

Active Oregon nursing license or ability to obtain the 90-day emergency license
BLS and NRP certifications required
Strong experience in L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery
Ability to work independently across all areas of maternal-child care
Comfortable with titrating drips and reading fetal monitoring strips

Knowledge & Skills

L&D, Postpartum, Routine Nursery, and Intermediate Nursery expertise
BLS and NRP certified
Confident with Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate titration
Fetal monitoring and maternal telemetry interpretation
Flexible and ready to jump between assignments as the unit needs change
