Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers following AWHONN guidelines
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin during labor
Support beautiful mom-baby couplets through postpartum recovery and education
Collaborate with the surgical team during C-sections while caring for newborns
Deliver expert neonatal care including CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow support
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Neonatal care
Experience with OB Trace Vue electronic fetal monitoring
Ability to titrate drips and manage complex antepartum patients
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to floating assignments and helping hands support
