Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, self-scheduling with 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to patients awaiting placement from the Emergency Department
Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias with confidence
Titrate cardiac drips such as Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone per physician orders
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Support med/surg/tele overflow units and float between campuses as needed
Assist with ED tasks including vitals, IV starts, and medication administration when requested

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam through RELIAS within 48 hours of offer
Comfortable completing a pass/fail SIM lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Experience with titratable drips including Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone
Ability to care for med/surg/tele patients and ED holds
Flexible and adaptable when floating between units and campuses
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
