Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy to patients across inpatient rehab, general medical floors, and outpatient clinics
Collaborate with PT and Speech teams to create comprehensive rehab plans
Conduct evaluations and interventions for a wide range of diagnoses including stroke, spinal cord injuries, ortho, and neuro conditions
Support swallow studies and functional recovery for patients recovering from complex medical and surgical events
Adapt therapy approaches for diverse populations including pediatrics, bariatrics, and cardiac patients
Document care using Cerner EMR and maintain compliance with facility protocols

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist
Experience with swallow studies preferred
Cerner EMR experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills across ortho, neuro, and rehab populations
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient settings
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays as scheduled
