Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call coverage (one evening per week 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM and two weekends per month 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in all surgical specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, ortho, and general procedures
Support complex cases such as CABGs, craniotomies, and robotic-assisted surgeries
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure seamless patient care
Precept new staff members and share your expertise when needed
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support operational needs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital OR experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to circulate in multiple surgical specialties
Robotics experience with Mako and DaVinci systems required
Cardiovascular experience essential for CABG procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Strong circulating skills across CV, neuro, ortho, and general cases
Comfort with both Mako and DaVinci robotic platforms
Ability to handle trauma, total joints, and complex neuro procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Reliable and committed to minimal call-outs
