Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care across a variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team during general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic procedures
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient needs
Respond to call within 30 minutes to ensure seamless surgical coverage
Maintain accurate documentation using the Surgical Information Systems EMR
Mentor and support new team members during orientation

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of OR experience
BLS certification required
Previous travel nursing experience
Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic system
Comfortable with a wide range of cases including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and GI procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR protocols and sterile technique
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfort working in a smaller, tight-knit unit environment
Preparedness for occasional trauma cases while on call
