Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
Build a positive nursing culture while enhancing staff competency and growth
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cases
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex critical care patients
Mentor team members and foster professional development across units
Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and hold care for optimal patient outcomes
Float to support other departments as a collaborative team player

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required
Critical care and telemetry experience preferred
Fluoro license helpful for technical staff support

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership skills to build team culture and enhance nursing competency
Expertise in vasoactive drips, moderate sedation, and critical care monitoring
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips across all care areas
Comfort managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment
Experience with cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
