Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a close-knit rural setting
Triage patients and confidently serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe and effective labor progression
Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent outcomes for moms and babies
Support the unit as a helping hand to med-surg when needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
Current ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications
Trained in LDRP and comfortable functioning independently as baby catcher and transition nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage skills
Pitocin titration experience
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Comfort working in a rural hospital with limited on-site support
