Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to mothers through antepartum, labor, triage, postpartum, and newborn stages
Monitor and manage common drips including Pitocin, Insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:2
Support families during one of life's most meaningful moments with expert clinical care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of LDRP nursing experience
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in labor and delivery settings
Ability to float and task in MedSurg when needed
Comfortable working in a 4-bed unit with 100-125 births per year
