Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Monitor and recover patients following interventional radiology procedures
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body IR cases including chemo embolizations, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access procedures
Support critical care and telemetry patients throughout their procedural journey
Ensure safe, compassionate care across both outpatient and inpatient populations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU background with IR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort managing vents and telemetry patients
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Ability to work collaboratively with IR techs and multidisciplinary teams
Flexibility to cover occasional Saturdays
