Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence and independence
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring optimal outcomes
Monitor antepartum patients and titrate drips including Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Float to postpartum and other units as needed while maintaining exceptional patient care standards
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM expertise

Qualifications

Current RN license with BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications
Experience with vaginal exams, internal monitor placement, and high-risk laboring patients
Ability to circulate and recover C-section patients independently
Comfortable floating to postpartum and other units as needed
Cerner experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
High-risk labor and delivery expertise
C-section circulation and recovery
Antepartum patient care
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
Cerner electronic health record system
