Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns across LDRP, MedSurg, and ER units
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips with precision and critical thinking
Titrate and manage critical drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Float where needed to support the entire hospital and maintain excellent patient care
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to deliver evidence-based nursing

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently
Strong critical thinking and adaptability to change

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Critical thinking in fast-paced obstetric settings
Titration of Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin drips
Meditech EMR experience
Philips telemetry and Traceview/PIP EFM systems
Floating comfortably between LDRP, MedSurg, and ER
