Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6-7 days per pay period, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring patients with 1:1 ratios
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Pitocin and Magnesium
Support mothers through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum journeys
Deliver expert care to patients with hypertension and diabetes in pregnancy
Collaborate with the care team to maintain exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
BLS and NRP certifications required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher
Willingness to comply with no artificial nails policy in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Labor and delivery expertise
Postpartum and antepartum care knowledge
Drip titration experience with Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia
Understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
