Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory care across neonatal to geriatric patients in a Level II trauma center
Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Manage advanced ventilators and respiratory equipment including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and V-60
Provide specialized NICU support while maintaining independence and sound clinical judgment
Cover all facility areas including ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac, and emergency departments

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Active North Dakota state respiratory therapy license
Proven NICU experience essential
Ability to work independently and make strong clinical decisions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong ventilator management across multiple platforms
Excellent assessment and critical thinking abilities
Comfortable working across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
Collaborative approach with physicians and care teams
Adaptable to various clinical settings throughout the facility
