End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM and end times between 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM; weekend shifts may be required with a compensatory day off during the week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert physical therapy services across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized care for ventilated patients and post-surgical ortho and total joint cases
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting
Support patients through their entire acute care journey from admission to discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation expertise
ICU and ventilated patient management
Cardiology and post-cardiac surgery patient care
Oncology rehabilitation experience
MedSurg patient assessment and treatment
