Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling with every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications such as Magnesium and Oxytocin
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers during C-sections to ensure safe outcomes for baby
Float to medical-surgical or emergency departments when extra hands are needed
Deliver expert neonatal resuscitation and postpartum couplet care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Ability to pass required respirator fit testing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong Labor & Delivery and Postpartum expertise
Neonatal Resuscitation skills
Comfort working independently in a rural setting
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience with EFM systems and titratable drips
