Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms remotely for up to 60 patients using advanced technology
Recognize and report dangerous arrhythmias following established protocols
Collaborate with local RN staff to ensure timely patient interventions
Accurately document rhythm changes and maintain detailed surveillance records
Follow command center policies to improve patient outcomes and department metrics

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam (lethal rhythms are pass/fail with one chance)
Strong candidates may have 3 months of education waived

Knowledge & Skills

Remote Patient Monitoring expertise
Cardiac Arrhythmia Detection skills
EKG Interpretation proficiency
Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring experience
Strong communication and protocol adherence
