Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge plans
Maintain infection control standards and ensure a safe environment for patients

Qualifications

Current RN license in New Hampshire or compact RN license as applicable
Clinical experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and time management skills
Ability to work effectively on a fast-paced unit and collaborate with a team

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles and procedures
Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
Accurate and timely electronic charting skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Prioritization and critical thinking under changing conditions
