Roles & Responsibilities

Provide excellent, compassionate bedside nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans
Document patient care activities thoroughly and maintain accurate records
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up

Qualifications

Current, active Registered Nurse license in Georgia (or eligible to obtain)
Clinical Med/Surg experience (prior Med/Surg unit experience preferred)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or other certifications a plus
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices and patient assessment
Medication administration and safe IV/infusion management
Proficient clinical documentation and charting practices
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment and prioritizing care
Collaborative mindset for working with physicians, therapists, and support staff
