Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, triage, and provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department
Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
Perform clinical interventions, administer medications, and monitor patient status
Document patient care accurately and timely in the facility’s charting system
Communicate clearly with patients and families, providing education and emotional support
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to ensure smooth ED operations

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) credential (required)
Experience working in an Emergency Department or urgent care setting (preferred)
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to rotating schedules
Current BLS; other emergency certifications (e.g., ACLS/PALS) as required by the facility

Education

Degree or diploma in Nursing (RN) — applicable state licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong triage and critical thinking skills in fast-paced emergency settings
Proficient patient assessment and clinical decision-making
Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff
Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic medical records
Calm, organized approach to high-acuity and high-volume situations
