Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for patients including assistance with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and observations
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (active) — California certification preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Comfortable providing direct patient care and working as part of a team
• Flexible availability for per diem shifts, including the listed assignment date

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and experience with activities of daily living
• Accurate vital signs measurement and observational skills
• Basic charting and documentation practices
• Infection control and patient safety awareness
• Clear communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
