Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide and administer safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Perform thorough age-appropriate patient assessments and interpret findings to drive care plans
• Administer medications and document accurately in the Cerner EMR
• Follow hospital policies and nursing procedures to maintain high standards of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Colorado (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Cerner EMR experience (required)
• Minimum: Prefer two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse; Med/Surg experience strongly preferred
• BSN preferred; ACLS and PALS are preferred certifications
• Basic computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation
• ER RN experience is a plus

• Med/Surg nursing skills and procedures
• Medication administration best practices
• Familiarity with growth and development principles
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR and basic computer applications
• Strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
