Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and assigned days to be confirmed with the facility (Med/Surg RN schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients
Perform thorough assessments and continuously monitor patient status
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Document patient care and interventions clearly and timely in the electronic health record
Participate in unit-based quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
Previous Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid Med/Surg assessment skills and clinical judgment
Experience with medication administration and IV therapy
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate documentation practices
Ability to prioritize workload and respond to changing patient needs
Teamwork, patient advocacy, and strong bedside manners
