Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient condition and develop individualized treatment plans that drive real progress
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise and manual techniques
• Document patient progress clearly and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery strategies
• Participate in discharge planning and communicate recommendations for safe transitions

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license valid in Washington state or ability to obtain licensure quickly
• Active BLS certification, or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Experience in outpatient or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient-centered communication skills
• Able to work Monday through Friday daytime schedule and adapt to travel assignment logistics

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and functional mobility training
• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular rehabilitation principles
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Strong patient education and safe transfer/ambulation techniques
• Ability to collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and rehab aides
