Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including ADLs and personal hygiene
Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning
Accurately document patient status, vital signs, and care delivered
Communicate clearly with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Support patient dignity and comfort while addressing individual needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (California license preferred)
BLS/CPR certification required or obtainable upon hire
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable with per diem scheduling and short-notice assignments
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, toileting, grooming)
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic vital sign measurement and observation skills
Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
Infection control and facility safety procedures
Team collaboration and clear, compassionate communication
