Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU patients, using evidence-based practices to improve outcomes
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor hemodynamic status, and intervene promptly for changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and advanced therapies safely and accurately
• Document care clearly and efficiently in the EMR (Meditech 6.0 preferred)
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Provide coverage for 24-hour call shifts and support the unit’s operational needs
• Flex to Med Surg when needed to support patient flow and unit coverage

Qualifications

• Current ICU nurse (ICU experience required)
• Active RN licensure appropriate for assignment (state requirements apply)
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Willingness to float to Med Surg as needed
• Comfortable taking assigned 24-hour call shifts
• Meditech 6.0 experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical care knowledge and ICU clinical skills
• Proficiency with ACLS/BLS protocols and emergency response
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 documentation preferred
• Ability to manage patient care during 24-hour call coverage
• Flexibility to work across ICU and Med Surg settings when required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
