Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform continuous patient monitoring and timely assessment to identify changes in condition
• Initiate and manage advanced cardiac life support interventions when clinically indicated
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and what to expect in the ICU
• Maintain CAP-required verification of education for moderate complexity testing as needed

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• TNCC required
• PALS preferred
• Previous ICU experience preferred
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (CAP requirement)

Education

• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required
• Active RN licensure (Oregon RN) required

Knowledge & Skills

• ICU nursing and critical care principles
• Patient monitoring and interpretation of hemodynamic data
• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) proficiency
• Trauma nursing skills (TNCC)
• Ability to work nights and adapt to rotating weekend schedules
