Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned patients
• Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and families about condition, care, and follow-up needs
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in California or eligible for state licensure
• Clinical experience as an RN; per diem/acute care experience preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS or PALS as appropriate
• Comfort working independently during per diem shifts and adapting quickly
• Familiarity with MST-related protocols or willingness to learn MST workflows

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of accredited nursing program and national/state requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy
• Excellent documentation and time management abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork with diverse care teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and basic computer skills
