Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned shift
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care in the medical record clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure - California license preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Valid nursing license in good standing with ability to work per diem assignments
• Comfortable working in acute care settings and adapting to varying patient needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Accurate documentation and charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage time during a busy 12-hour shift
