Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care in the ICU
Perform thorough assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create and execute care plans
Monitor hemodynamics, ventilators, and complex support devices with vigilance
Document care accurately and communicate changes in patient status promptly
Mentor peers and support a culture of safety, learning, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (required)
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain
Experience in ICU/critical care preferred; per-diem clinicians welcome
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Ventilator management basics and familiarity with advanced respiratory support
Medication administration in an ICU setting, including titratable drips
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear, timely documentation
Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
