Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing and feeding assistance
Monitor and record vital signs and report clinical changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with patient transfers and mobility while following safe body mechanics
Maintain clean, safe patient environments and adhere to infection control standards
Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
Support patients’ emotional needs and offer respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in California (must be active and in good standing)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Prior experience as a CNA preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on night shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care techniques and safe transfer practices
Basic clinical monitoring: vitals, intake/output, and patient observation
Familiarity with electronic or paper documentation of care
Infection prevention, hand hygiene, and standard precautions
Teamwork, time management, and the ability to follow care plans
