Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed (schedule to be provided by facility)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by taking vital signs, documenting observations, and reporting changes
Assist patients with mobility, transfers and personal hygiene in a safe manner
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and their families
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies consistently
Contribute to a positive team environment and assist with patient flow needs

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must meet Georgia state requirements)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification preferred or obtain upon hire
Comfortable performing direct patient care and lifting/transferring patients safely
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
Strong communication and teamwork skills; compassion and patience a must
Previous healthcare or long-term care experience preferred

Education

Completion of state-approved CNA program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection control standards and proper PPE usage
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Clear documentation and basic electronic charting familiarity
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
