Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Support residents with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care activities and observations clearly and promptly
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to enhance resident outcomes
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Reliable attendance and the ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and documentation skills
Effective teamwork and communication in a clinical setting
Ability to follow care plans and report changes promptly
