Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts (days and nights); specific start/end times and weekly schedule to be provided by the facility
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based critical care to ICU patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment
- Administer medications, infusions, and ICU-level interventions safely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
- Respond quickly and effectively during emergencies and code situations
- Educate patients and families about care plans, procedures, and discharge needs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Hawaii or eligible for state licensure (compact license may apply)
- Current BLS certification required and ACLS required or obtainable upon hire
- Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
- Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Nursing diploma; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care monitoring and ventilator familiarity
- Stable venous access and infusion management
- Familiarity with ICU documentation and electronic health record systems
- Strong teamwork, communication, and patient advocacy
- Ability to triage and prioritize in high-acuity situations
