Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the interventional radiology setting
• Perform procedural sedation monitoring and ensure safe patient recovery post-procedure
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists and the care team to optimize procedural flow
• Document care accurately and efficiently in the EPIC EMR system
• Assess and triage patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
• Support unit throughput by assisting across radiology nursing areas as needed

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR documented in previous roles
• Demonstrated experience with procedural sedation and patient recovery
• Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and safety protocols
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR documentation and electronic charting
• Ability to monitor sedation and manage recovery room priorities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-paced procedural settings
• Critical thinking and rapid assessment skills for peri-procedural care
