Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts
• Monitor patients closely and interpret telemetry/monitoring data
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate excellent care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Respond quickly and effectively to clinical changes and emergencies
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California or eligibility to obtain one
• BLS certification required; ACLS and other certifications preferred when applicable
• Comfort with telemetry/monitoring and acute care nursing practices
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work independently on night shifts
• Previous acute care or med-surg experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in bedside nursing skills and assessment
• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• IV/medication administration and documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Effective communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
• Prioritization and time management during night shift responsibilities
