Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality telemetry nursing care to adult patients
• Continuously monitor cardiac telemetry and quickly respond to alarms and changes
• Perform thorough assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, unit staff, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and discharge plans
• Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse license in California or eligibility under compact rules
• Clinical telemetry experience preferred, comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Patient assessment and critical care nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Accurate clinical documentation and time management
