Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment
• Document care and observations accurately and timely in the patient record
• Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligible for state certification
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Reliable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with patients and team members
• Comfortable with physical aspects of the role including lifting and assisting patients

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed certified nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong basic patient care skills including bathing, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in condition
• Good communication and teamwork skills with both patients and clinical staff
• Basic charting and documentation accuracy
• Infection control awareness and adherence to safety protocols
• Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
