Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic exams including general X-ray and portable studies to support accurate diagnosis
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment safely and effectively during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and ED staff to prioritize trauma and emergency imaging needs
• Document exams and findings accurately in EPIC and manage images in Fuji Synaps/PACS
• Maintain radiation safety practices and wear/track radiation badge provided by your agency
• Prepare and maintain imaging rooms and equipment (GE systems) to ensure smooth patient flow
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to patients and the healthcare team

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiography experience preferred, including fluoroscopy, C-arm, and portable radiography
• Comfortable working in ED, inpatient, and outpatient settings and handling trauma/level 1 cases
• Familiarity with EPIC and Fuji Synaps (PACS) strongly preferred
• Willingness to be in state for orientation week; driver’s license required for radius compliance (60 miles)

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, or related radiography program
• ARRT (R) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and exposure techniques
• Experience with fluoroscopy, C-arm procedures, and portable imaging
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and Fuji Synaps/PACS image systems
• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and routine QC checks
• Excellent patient communication and ability to work in fast-paced trauma/ED environments
• Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
