Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
Measure and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with daily living activities while preserving patient dignity and comfort
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to support individualized care plans
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
Support patients and families with empathy, clear communication, and respect

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
Physical ability to assist with patient transfers and provide hands-on care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of basic patient care and activities of daily living
Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
