Start Date: 04-26-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; exact days and start/end times to be determined by the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and support to residents
Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Take and document vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Maintain dignity and comfort for each resident while supporting mobility and safety
Accurately document care provided and communicate updates to nurses and care staff
Follow infection control practices and help maintain a clean, safe environment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or to be obtained per facility policy
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Prior long term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic resident care and activities of daily living
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Good documentation and reporting practices
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced care environment
Compassionate bedside manner and resident-focused communication
