Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
Support a positive resident experience by being attentive, respectful, and professional

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the applicable state
CPR or BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
Previous CNA or direct patient care experience preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic

Education

CNA certification required; High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and safety
Basic clinical skills including vital signs and charting
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
