Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support basic needs with dignity
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the care team
Document care activities thoroughly in the patient record
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and follow-up

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (preferred or required depending on facility policy)
Comfortable working 12+ hour clinical shifts and managing multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Previous experience in acute care or long-term care settings is a plus

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Wound care and basic nursing procedures
Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical charting
Infection control, safety, and patient advocacy principles
