Shift Type: 8.5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed by the facility)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and patient-centered care
Position patients and equipment correctly to produce high-quality images
Maintain imaging equipment and report any issues for timely repairs
Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic chart
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and the care team to ensure smooth imaging workflows

Qualifications

Current state radiologic technologist licensure (as required by Louisiana)
ARRT certification or equivalent preferred
Minimum clinical experience as a radiologic technologist — confidence operating standard radiography equipment
Strong patient care and communication skills with ability to work in a fast-paced setting
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in diagnostic radiography techniques and patient positioning
Familiarity with PACS and electronic health record systems
Solid understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment and escalate issues appropriately
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Good interpersonal skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
