Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document resident care and observations clearly in the clinical record
- Collaborate with RN peers and the interdisciplinary team to support care plans
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly
- Support a positive, respectful environment for residents and families
Qualifications
- Current, active Pennsylvania LPN license (required)
- High school diploma or GED (minimum)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable with medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; resident-focused attitude
- Long-term care or med-surg experience is a plus (preferred)
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and basic nursing interventions
- Medication administration and documentation
- Accurate charting in electronic medical records
- Infection control and safety procedures
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
- Professional communication with patients, families, and team members
